Do I need a permit for a garden house?
A garden house in the back garden is often permit-free, as long as it stays within certain dimensions and enough garden remains. Different rules apply to, for example, a granny annex or a large outbuilding. We check this for your situation.
Does a garden house need a foundation?
Yes. A good foundation prevents subsidence, damp and warping. Depending on the size and the ground, we choose a concrete slab, piers or a strip foundation.
Can I use my garden house as an office?
Certainly. With insulation, double glazing, electrics, internet and heating your garden house becomes a comfortable workspace you can use all year round.
How long does it take to build a garden house?
A simple garden house is often up within one to two weeks. An insulated garden office with installations takes a little longer. You receive a schedule in advance.
