The Thalia Theatre is a landmark building in IJmuiden with a distinctive art deco facade. For the redevelopment of this special building, we prepared the complete set of sales and working drawings on behalf of HSE.
With a building of this character, it's all about detail: the existing facade rhythm, the characteristic windows and the connection to the surrounding new build had to be right down to the millimetre. Our drawings formed the basis for both the sales documentation and the actual construction on site.
Besides the theatre volume, the project also included the adjoining housing, which was worked out in harmony with the monumental main building.
